I’m looking for fast learners with good communication skills and a willingness to ask questions. Mandarin knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. I’m excited to help mentees develop their research skills and find their niche in the field.
Bio
Emmie Hine is a Research Fellow at the Safe AI Forum focusing on AI safety and governance in China. She has studied and researched at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Bologna, and Yale Digital Ethics Center; her past work analyzed AI governance from local to international levels, often with a comparative approach. Before starting her PhD, she was a software engineer and as a result, her favorite language is TypeScript.
