What I'm looking for in a Mentee

Someone who is proactive, agentic, and motivated. Ideally someone who brings a new perspective and background to the table. Someone who is an ideas generator looking to learn.

What I'm like as a Mentor

I plan on working with the mentor in whatever way they and the project would benefit best. I am kind, positive and direct in my communication style. I imagine to have weekly calls, the fellow(s) could work from the Amodo office where suitable espeically if conducting any physical experiments (such as public PPE testing). I also work from LISA a couple days a week and am always happy to chat over coffee. Email is the best place to reach me.

Bio

I am a Materials Scientist (MEng) by training, I have a background in DNA sequencing, chip development, communications, and engineering. I currently work at Amodo Design an engineering consultancy working on scoping and delivering biosecurity projects for Blueprint, Coefficient giving, and others.
